BETTINA

Bettina Graziani was one of the most photographed women in France in the ‘50s. Shortly after being discovered by French designer Fath, she became the first supermodel as well as the muse and image of the most important designers at the time, such as Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy and Coco Chanel. Her incredible elegance and natural sophistication attracted attention.

At Balel, we were inspired by her to design our Bettina model, a brimless hat designed in an elegant lightweight matte felt that serves as support to the second body surrounding it, lined with tulle and delicate black rhinestones. It is lined inside with bright black silk crepe, leaving all the seams concealed for a finish that remains true to its perfect nature.

FASTENING AND HOW TO WEAR IT

The Bettina model is worn like a normal hat, horizontally or tilted slightly forward.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Thanks to its sophisticated brimless design and its exquisite rhinestones, the Bettina model is a perfect jewel hat to wear to evening or night events.

It looks particularly good on women with normal or wide faces as it adds the necessary height to balance their features. If also paired with a jacket that clearly defines the waistline, and a flared skirt, the result will be striking.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

All of our hats are made with the highest quality materials to make them last for many years. To keep your hat in perfect condition, we recommend storing it in its box after each use. It is advisable to bring it in to Balel anytime your hat requires cleaning, ironing, having the inside ribbon changed, or any other pampering or treatment.
